The SLP Compilation Checklist below is the working framework SLP4Good applies when preparing Social and Labour Plans under the MPRDA and the Mining Charter. It moves through the twelve sections an SLP must cover — from ownership and preamble, through HRD, mine community development, inclusive procurement, housing and living conditions, downscaling, budget, implementation responsibility, monitoring and annexures — and sets out, for each, the data to gather, the questions to answer and the evidence to keep on file. The checklist also introduces the SLP4Good shortcut branch, which uses purpose-built software to analyse audit data, develop person-by-person HRD plans, screen LED project options and draft the SLP tables that carry the commitments through to reporting. The intent is straightforward: compile with discipline, defend with evidence.
